How do Jetstar Dollars work?

How many Jetstar Dollars do I stand to earn?

An average family spending approximately $4170 per month on everyday shopping and essentials would receive $500 worth of vouchers within the course of a year. With a Jetstar Platinum Card and monthly purchases adding up to $8340 this family would receive $2000 worth of vouchers within the same year. Just imagine receiving points for all of your groceries, your household bills, all of your entertainment, your petrol and many other items. As you begin using the Jetstar credit card for your regular purchases you will start seeing the vouchers coming in like clockwork.

How can I redeem my Jetstar Dollars?

Another feature that sets it apart from the crowd is an automatic redemption system. No longer will you have to fill out paperwork or make any calls to check your rewards. In today's busy society, who has the time necessary to calculate every reward dollar they collect? Once you have accrued $100 worth of Jetstar dollars they will automatically be sent to you at your email address. If you need them faster, they can also be sent in increments of $25. You can request they be sent early. Holders of a Jetstar Platinum MasterCard will be sent a voucher for $200 after obtaining 200 or more Jetstar dollars.

Are there any restrictions?

Once you have received your Jetstar vouchers you have up to 3 months to use them for a flight booking, and up to six months to actually travel. Booking is very simple: you can go to the Jetstar website at to both search for a flight and to book it. You can complete your flight booking by entering in your vouchers using the voucher tab. If your flight costs more than your vouchers are worth, you will have to pay the difference using an alternate form of payment.

The Jetstar credit card allows you to collect travel vouchers using Jetstar dollars without the bother of keeping track of all your rewards. That is why it is the natural choice for people that want to travel, but need a little extra help paying for the high cost of flying.
