Benefits of banking with Community First Bank

Support the McGrath Foundation

The Community First Low Rate Pink credit card is one of the few credit cards on the market that is linked with a charity. When you use the Community First Low Rate Pink credit card, half of your annual fee ($25) will be donated to the McGrath Foundation each year.

Worldwide access

Cardholders can use the card for cash advances or retail purchases wherever Visa cards are accepted.

Single interest rate

Interest rates and cash advance rates are usually different, but cardholders will receive the same competitive interest rate on all transactions made with a Community Union Credit Card. This helps in easy management of repayments and also ensures that customers are not charged exorbitant rates on cash advances.

Visa benefits

As Visa products, these cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide. It also means that both cards are payWave enabled for contactless payments for up to $100.

Additional cards

Cardholders can request for an additional card at no extra cost.

I am an aged pensioner with a $71,000 superannuation account and about $70,000 in NAB shares under a dividend reinvestment plan. Own my own home with my husband and have no debts. Am I eligible to apply for a Community First Low Rate Credit Card

      Hello Margaret,

I suggest getting in touch with Community First and enquiring about their eligibility requirements. Ask if it accepts a pension as a form of income. I hope this helps.

how many cards can I transfer to this card visa or visa or mastercard

      Hi Gloria,

      Thanks for your inquiry,

With balance transfers generally lenders have no limit on the number of cards you can balance transfer from. Rather the amount being balance transferred is limited by the credit limit on the new card.

      I hope this helps!

      Cheers,

      Jonathan

    Hello

      Hi Jess,

      Thanks for your question.

The McGrath Pink Visa charges the same rate of interest for purchases, cash advances and balance transfers, so if you make the transaction during this period you’ll be charged a rate of 4.74% p.a. There is also a 55-day interest-free period on purchases available with this card.

      I hope this has helped.

      Thanks,

      Elizabeth
