The Australian Military Bank Low Rate Visa Credit Card comes with its share of advantages, which include the following:

  • Balance transfer offer

In addition, at the end of this period the outstanding balance attracts the card’s low purchase rate, and not its cash advance rate.

Since this is a Visa credit card you can look forward to using it when you travel to just about anywhere in the world. You can use ATMs that accept Visa to withdraw money, and use it to make purchases via EFTPOS. This card comes with Visa payWave technology, so you can make contactless payments at participating merchants when you shop for less than $100. You will also benefit from Visa’s multiple layers of security.

  • Additional cards

If you want to get additional cards for your family members, you can do so without paying any extra fees.

      Hi Warren,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

Based on the general eligibility criteria and requirements for Australian Military Bank credit card, you should be currently employed or receiving a regular income. I’d suggest that you contact the Australian Military Bank directly to confirm if you can apply even though you are receiving age pension and disability payments.

Meantime, if you’d like to check other banks that accept pensioner applicants, please read the criteria and general information from this page. You may click on the name of the bank so you will find the credit cards they offer.

      Hope this helps.
