Types of credit cards from Heritage Bank
Heritage Bank offers credit cards in the low rate, classic, and platinum credit card categories. Compared to other credit card providers, Heritage Bank credit cards don’t exactly fit with what we’ve come to expect. They offer a low rate gold credit card, for example, which charges no annual fee. Read more about the different types of Heritage Bank credit cards below.
Low rate credit cards
Low rate credit cards can be an option for you if you plan on paying back when you spend on the card over a couple of months. Usually, these cards come with an annual fee and ‘up to’ interest-free days on purchases. The Heritage Bank Gold Low Rate Credit Card doesn’t offer any interest-free days on purchases, but you won’t pay any annual fee to own the card.
Standard credit cards
Whereas low rate credit cards are just suited to ‘revolvers’ — people who just make the minimum monthly repayment — standard credit cards are mid-level products that are suited to most types of borrowers. The annual fee is a little higher than low rate credit cards, but sometimes banks will sweeten the deal by charging no annual fees in the first year you have the credit card.
Platinum credit cards
Platinum credit cards are the ‘king of the castle’. As you get to earn rewards points, benefit from free insurance and personal concierge service, you can expect to pay more for a platinum credit card, but there’s a greatest range of value-adding features on offer.
