Comparing the credit union where bank employees go for lower interest rates and personalised service.
Quay Credit Union has been providing banking services to its members for more than 42 years, offering a high level of service and a range of great value products. A customer-owned credit union, their members are largely financial services professionals, including senior bank management, after a merger of AMP Credit Union and GIO Staff Credit Union.
They offer most of the services found at major banks, but with the difference that Quay Credit Union exists solely to support its members. Profits are reinvested to provide members with even better rates and products, lower fees and more personalised service. From 1 September 2016, Quay Credit Union merged with G&C Mutual Bank. Quay Credit Union no longer offers new products and all existing customers become members of G&C Mutual Bank.
