      Hi Viviane,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

Yes, you can use your BOQ credit card overseas or in Hawaii. Just to confirm, though, which BOQ credit card you are referring to? The fees that may apply are:

      – Overseas Cash Advance Fee = 2% of the cash advance amount or minimum of $4.00
      – Overseas ATM Balance check = $2
      – Overseas ATM Withdrawal Fee = $5
      – Foreign Currency Conversion Fee (VISA) = 3.4% of transaction value

      Cheers,
      May

      Hi John,

Thanks for your question. Just to confirm though that you’ve come through to finder.com.au we are an Australian financial comparison website and general information service, not actually BOQ.

If you want to check what’s on offer with Q Rewards, please visit BOQ’s website.

      Hi Walter,

      Thanks for your question

If you would like to apply for a credit limit increase on your Bank of Queensland credit card, simply go to the “Manage your credit card” page then select the “Other Card Functions” button. From there, you can already submit an application for credit limit increase. Alternatively, you can also visit your nearest Bank of Queensland branch.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Anndy

I had a look at portal. It does not answer my question. I am travelling overseas in 3 days, Do i present my signature card to enter a lounge facility who is participating with Visa card holders. Is that what is required or there are some airline lounges who will offer this to BOQ signature card holders.
      Please let me know.

Hi Inderjit, thanks for your response.

BOQ provides One complimentary Priority Pass™ Standard Membership, with unlimited lounge visits for the primary cardholder of the Signature Card. Signature cardholders will automatically be enrolled for the Priority Pass™ Standard Membership. It will take up to 15 working days for your Priority Pass™ card to arrive in the mail. Your membership card and air ticket will be required to enter a lounge facility. When presenting the Priority Pass card on entering the lounge, lounge staff will either electronically scan or take an imprint of the card and issue a ‘Record of Visit’ voucher or receipt to the cardholder or make a log entry. The cardholder must sign the ‘Record of Visit’ voucher or receipt, or sign the electronic reader (as applicable), which will also reflect the exact number of accompanying guests.

      Cheers,

      Jonathan

I currently have a visa card with B O Q. My husband has one as well but i am the primary card holder. How much is the annual fee for the two cards? Have had the cards for some years, is this the best annual fee and interest rate you can do as we are looking at going to a lower fee/interest rate card

      Hi Heather,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

Could you please clarify which BOQ Visa credit card you are using? The BOQ Low rate has a $0 p.a. annual fee for the first year and $55 p.a. afterward, BOQ Blue Visa has a $49 p.a. annual fee and the BOQ Platinum has a $0 p.a. annual fee for the first year with $199 p.a. thereafter. Please refer to our guide on low fee/ interest rate cards. Before applying, please ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria and read through the details of the needed requirements as well as the relevant Product Disclosure Statements/Terms and Conditions when comparing your options before making a decision on whether it is right for you.

      Cheers,
