You can sign up for a 12-, 24- or 36-month contract and repay your handset in more affordable instalments.

Which OPPO phone are you after?

Optus OPPO Find X2 Pro plans

This is OPPO's latest and greatest handset, featuring a 48MP wide-angle camera, improved night shots and 5G capabilities.

Optus OPPO Find X2 Lite plans

While not as heavy duty as the Pro model, the X2 Lite still features a twin-lens camera, in-screen fingerprint unlocking function and 6.4-inch AMOLED display.

Optus OPPO Reno Z plans

The Reno Z is a slightly older model than the Find X2 line, but it's a solid mid-range option, with great battery life and a decent dual-lens rear camera.

Older Optus OPPO models

Optus has offered many different OPPO models in the past, but doesn't anymore. These include:

Optus OPPO prepaid phones

Optus does offer a single OPPO phone, containing a prepaid SIM with a free $30 recharge: The OPPO A72. This phone will be locked to the Optus network until you've spent a total of at least $80 on recharges.

Unlocking your Optus OPPO phone

If you got your phone as part of a postpaid plan, it's already unlocked.

If your phone was prepaid, it's free to unlock your handset after you've spent a total of $80 on recharges. Otherwise, you'll be charged:

  • $80 if you've had it less than 6 months
  • $25 if you've had it longer than 6 months

In order to unlock, you'll need to do the following:

1. Connect your phone to the Internet via Wi-Fi.
2. On the number pad, dial *#475838912# to open the Unlock Window and press "Ignore".
3. Enter the 16-digit unlocking code from Optus exactly and press "Unlock".
4. If your code is correct, the device will display "Unlock Successful" and it will reboot automatically.

What happens if you leave your contract early?

Customers who cancel their mobile phone contract plan early with Optus will simply have to pay out the remaining value of their device. There are no further fees or penalties for leaving early.

What do you get with an Optus OPPO plan?

Buying an OPPO phone on an Optus postpaid plan will get you all the regular call and data inclusions of the plan, plus:

  • Potential 5G network access
  • Free excess data past your monthly limit, at a capped download speed of 1.5Mbps
  • Data sharing between plans on the same account
  • Free Optus Sport subscription on some plans
  • Unlimited international calls and texts to 35 destinations on some plans
