Optus iPhone Air plans and deals

Optus has 2 offers where you can get your trade-in value in the form of a Mastercard gift card.

Or, you can get up to $780 in bonus value when you pair your iPhone Air with Optus's $79 Promo SIM-only plan.

This includes a discount on the SIM-only plan, free Upgrade and Protect and $120 in credit over 12 months to spend on streaming subscriptions through Optus SubHub.

You will also receive an extra $250 gift card when you sign up for either of these offers through Finder using the table at the top.

Signing up to a mobile plan with Optus will also give you access to:

  • Endless data. Your speeds will be capped at 1.5Mbps once you've chewed through your data allowance
  • Data sharing across eligible linked accounts
  • Unlimited international calls and texts to 35 selected destinations (on its Medium plan and above)
  • An eSIM

Vodafone iPhone Air plans and deals

Vodafone is also running 2 offers, but you can take advantage of both of them.

The first one is simple: you can get $200 in bonus credit when trading in an eligible phone on a 12-, 24-, or 36-month plan.

For the second offer, you can get $1,200 in credit if you pair your iPhone Air with Vodafone's $79 Extra Large Plan (500GB of data each month) and trade in an eligible device.

However, you will need to stay connected for 36 months.

On a Vodafone plan, you'll also get:

  • No excess charges. Your speeds will be capped at 2Mbps once you've used up your data allowance
  • Unlimited international texts on all plans
  • Unlimited international minutes to Zone 1 countries and 300 minutes to Zone 2 countries on the medium and large SIM-only plans
  • $5 a day roaming to use your regular SIM-only plan overseas
  • The option to sign up via an eSIM

Telstra iPhone Air plans and deals

Telstra's offering $300 bonus credit when you trade in an eligible phone and sign up to a 12-, 24-, or 36-month plan.

With a Telstra mobile plan, you'll get:

  • Access to the largest 4G and 5G networks in Australia
  • No excess data charges. Your speeds will be capped at 1.5Mbps once you've used up your data allowance
  • Unlimited international texts to all countries and at least 30 minutes of free calls
  • The option to sign up via an eSIM

iPhone Air is eSIM-only, but that's not a bad thing

The good news is that eSIMs are much more commonly available from both the major telcos and smaller providers.

In fact, 32 out of 47 mobile providers in our database offer eSIMs, so you have plenty of options even if you decide to buy the iPhone Air outright.
