So is iPrimus mobile worth it? We ask our utilities expert, Sam Baran

Photo of Sam BaranIf you're looking for a decent chunk of data and don't care about extra features, iPrimus offers good value on its three plans. It's basic, but compares well to the other providers.

If you don't need quite that much data each month, consider a provider like Moose or Vaya.

How does iPrimus compare?

To see how iPrimus stacks up against the competition, we've placed its $40 Small plan against similar ones from Optus (its network provider) and Vaya (another provider on the Optus network).

Data allowance40GB10GB38GB
Data per dollar value$1.00 per 1GB$3.90 per 1GB$0.95 per 1GB

iPrimus compares extremely well to the competition, offering way more value than Optus and a similar amount to Vaya. None of these three have any standout features accompanying their plans, so iPrimus comes out as a competitive choice.
