Does my NAB visa card cover rental car insurance in Ireland?

Hi Kathryn. I had a look at the NAB card insurance policy booklet and it says that there is rental vehicle excess cover provided for interstate trips only. Thanks for your question. Jacob.

I want to transfer my $8000 credit card debt to a low interest card with NAB or I will transfer to another bank with low rates or zero for 9 months.

      Hi Wayne,

      Thanks for your question.

Is NAB your current provider? If so, balance transfers with a promotional rate of interest will only be accepted from non-NAB credit cards, store cards, and charge cards. If you’re looking to transfer your outstanding balance to another card under a promotional rate of interest, it will need to be to an institution that is not related to your current provider. You may want to compare balance transfer credit cards featured on our website.

      Regards,
      Jacob

    Hi,
    Quick question!
Does my ‘normal’ NAB visa credit card cover me for any collision damage on a rental car as I understand a platinum/gold does?
    Thanks.
    Jan.

Hi Jan. Thanks for your question. Can you please be a little more specific about the card? The NAB Low Fee and Low Rate Card do not offer complimentary international travel insurance. Jacob.

I have a credit card that is over the limit but want to transfer balance to one a with lower interest rate . Will I be able to transfer the over the limit funds or just the amount for the card?

      JacobMay 2, 2013Finder

      Hi Dane,

      Thanks for your question.

You will be able to enter an amount to transfer from your old card, and provided that it’s within the maximum percentage of your approved credit limit set by the provider, you will be able to transfer the funds. Before applying, please ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria and read through the details of the needed requirements as well as the relevant Product Disclosure Statements/Terms and Conditions when comparing your options before making a decision on whether it is right for you.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Jacob

how to transfer points from visa card to frequent flyer

      Default GravatarFinder
      JacobApril 25, 2013Finder

Hi Aurel. Thanks for the question. When you apply for a frequent flyer credit card that is linked to a credit card, you also need to link you existing frequent flyer membership, or join a frequent flyer program and then link it to your credit card. You do this during the application process. Once this is done, when you spend frequent flyer points are automatically credited to your frequent flyer membership. Jacob.
