Does travel insurance cover additional cardholders on ANZ Platinum card if key criteria are met?
Hi Ken,
Thank you for your comment.
If the eligibility criteria are met, you and your spouse and child, who are in the same trip with you shall be covered as well.
You may also refer to the insurance policy information or master policy found on the ANZ website to be guided.

Jhezelyn
I hold an ANZ Platinum Visa credit card. Am I eligible to apply as I meet all the requirements? How do I apply for travel insurance from here?
Ian
Hi Ian,
Thank you for getting in touch with Finder.
If you have an ANZ Platinum credit card, yes it has complimentary travel insurance. You do not have to apply for or activate your card’s complimentary travel insurance given that you have used your ANZ Platinum credit card to pay for some of your trips, for at least AUD$250 and you meet the other requirements listed on this page.
I hope this helps.
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Cheers,
Jeni
Hi, for the Vehicle Insurance, I am hiring a rental car in Italy for 7 days, do I still need to take car insurance or does the ANZ Complimentary Travel Insurance just cover the excess? Do I have to pay on the car insurance that I take out?
Thanks.
Hi Mark,
Thank you for contacting Finder.
The ANZ Credit Card Complimentary Travel Insurance has a cover for the Rental Vehicle Excess which will start upon your departure in Australia and will end on your return. You must meet the following conditions:
* the vehicle is from a registered rental company
* the damage is caused by accident, storm, fire or theft
* you will be the driver for the rental vehicle
I hope this helps.
Please do not hesitate to reach out again to us.

I intend to spend more than $250 in Australia to pay fees for Visa as required by certain countries . If I pay the fees with my participating ANZ credit card, will I get the complimentary Travel insurance cover.
This is because the airfares, transport and accommodation have already been paid with a non-ANZ credit card.
Hi Khanh,
Thank you for contacting Finder.
For the $250, you may not use it to pay for your Visa as to be eligible for the Complimentary Travel Insurance you may only spend it on either:
* Transport costs (airfares and/or cruises)
* Land content costs (tours, hire cars or other hired transport and accommodation)
They have not publish a specific list of countries where you are restricted to use the Complimentary Travel Insurance. You may call ANZ directly to confirm whether the country where you are heading to is covered.
I hope this helps.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.
Cheers,
Ash
