Eligibility criteria

  • Residency requirement. Citizens and permanent residents of Australia are eligible to apply. If you are a non-Australian permanent resident, you must have at least 12 months remaining on a valid working, business or investor visa.
  • New cardholder. The $450 credit back offer and the first-year annual fee waiver are only available to new ANZ Platinum credit card customers.

  • Up to $450 credit back. You'll get $450 credit back to your new card when you apply for a new ANZ Platinum Credit Card and spend $4,500 on eligible purchases in the first 4 months from card approval.
  • $0 annual fee in the first year. The ANZ Platinum offers a waived annual fee in the first year for new cardholders. After the first year, a $87 annual fee applies. This is waived if your annual spending on the ANZ Platinum Credit Card is over $20,000. The annual spend is calculated 12 months following your account's "fee date".

Rates & fees

  • Purchase interest rate. A 20.99% p.a. interest rate will apply to your purchases if you don't pay off your balance during the interest-free period.
  • Interest-free days. When you pay the closing balance in full by the statement due date, you can save with up to 55 interest-free days on purchases. Note that if you have promotional balances from relevant balance transfer plans, you will need to pay the full Adjusted Closing Balance listed on your statement to be eligible for interest-free days. This is calculated as your closing balance less the sum of any relevant promotional plans.
