The ANZ Platinum offers a range of complimentary insurance options for travel and shopping. Right now, you can get $300 back on your new ANZ Platinum Credit Card when you spend $1,500 on eligible purchases in the first 3 months. You’ll also save with a $0 annual fee in the first year, which goes to $87 p.a. after that. This will be waived after the first year when you spend over $20,000 on your card annually.

How to apply

You can apply for the ANZ Platinum Credit Card online in around 20 minutes and receive a response within 60 seconds. Before you apply, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria and have the necessary information to complete the application.

Eligibility criteria

  • Residency requirement. Citizens and permanent residents of Australia are eligible to apply. If you are a non-Australian permanent resident, you must have an eligible working or business visa with at least 9 months remaining.
  • New cardholder. The $300 credit back offer and the first-year annual fee waiver are only available to new ANZ Platinum credit card customers.

Card benefits

  • $300 back. You'll get $300 back to your new card when you apply for a new ANZ Platinum Credit Card and spend $1,500 on eligible purchases in the first 3 months from card approval.
  • $0 annual fee in the first year. The ANZ Platinum offers a waived annual fee in the first year for new cardholders. After the first year, a $87 annual fee applies. This is waived if your annual spending on the ANZ Platinum Credit Card is over $20,000. The annual spend is calculated 12 months following your account's "fee date".

Rates & fees

  • Purchase interest rate. Your purchases will collect the 20.99% p.a. interest rate if you carry a balance beyond the interest-free period.
  • Interest-free days. When you pay the closing balance in full by the statement due date, you can save with up to 55 interest-free days on purchases. Note that if you have promotional balances from relevant balance transfer plans, instalment plans and buy now pay later plans, you will need to pay the full Adjusted Closing Balance listed on your statement to be eligible for interest-free days. This is calculated as your closing balance less the sum of any relevant promotional plans.
