The American Express Westpac Altitude Black Card is designed to offer existing Westpac Altitude cardholders the benefit of an Amex card, including a competitive earn rate and complimentary extras. This card offers 5 Altitude points per $1 on eligible foreign currency spending, 3 points per $1 on eligible purchases in Australia and 1 point per $1 on spending with Australian government bodies, including the Australian Taxation Office.

Unlike the previous Westpac Altitude cards that came with both an Amex and a Visa or Mastercard, the American Express Westpac Altitude Black Card is issued directly by American Express and has a separate credit limit, monthly statement and annual fee to any Westpac Altitude Visa or Mastercard you already have. But all your points will still be pooled in your Westpac Altitude Rewards account, where you can redeem them for rewards such as travel, frequent flyer points and gift cards.
