Hi when it says a plan in provided on the Wholesale Telstra 4G/5G network what does that mean. Am I getting the same service and response that I would if I was on a Telstra plan? Or do Telstra customers get priority?

      Hi Tracey,

A plan on the wholesale Telstra 4G/5G network means you’re using a mobile service provided by a third-party company (like Belong or ALDI Mobile) that leases access to specific parts of Telstra’s infrastructure. It can offer a balance between the reliability of the Telstra network and a lower price point than buying directly from Telstra retail. While the Telstra network reaches 99.7% of the population, the Telstra wholesale network covers 98.8%. Hope this helps!

Hi, I am looking for a post paid plan that includes international roaming (calling and SMS’s from Greece to Australia) in the plan itself. I don’t want a daily roaming plan. Can you help please…Thank you…

Hi Peter, unfortunately international roaming isn’t ever baked in mobile plans – you will always need to add it on to your plan. Most providers offer day passes or 7/14-day packs. There are a couple of exceptions. For example, Optus has a 186-day prepaid roaming add-on. amaysim also has 365-day travel packs where you can get a limited number of calls and texts. You can check out our guide for more information: https://www.finder.com.au/mobile-plans/global-roaming. Hope this helps!

Are there any other service providers in Australia that do mobile phone plans plus a mobile phone other than Telstra, Optus or Vodaphone?

Hi Sher, unfortunately Vodafone, Telstra and Optus are the only ones that offer phones on a plan. Hope this helps!

I need help in finding a reasonable 4G/5G sim only plan on telstra’s MNVO network. All the negative reviews relate to poor customer service, unhelpful poorly trained overseas call centers. Limited tech support mostly 9 to 5 weekdays only. Optus won’t work in my house. I am currently with Telsta and wan’t to leave because of no personal contact. Chat bot is useless and wastes so much time because it don’t understand the question! MNVO customer’s seem to get poor coverage, even Belong, poor customer service all round, so why recommend them. I’m looking for honest information. Please help me.

Hi, I am looking for a mobile postpaid sim only at a low monthly fee,
No need for any data but for just text and talk only.

Hi Aboud, You can check out our guide to cheap mobile plans for some options. Note that it’s pretty much impossible to find a voice-only postpaid service – if you really want that, prepaid is likely to be a better option.
