MyCard is a credit card brand that is backed by NAB. It formerly operated as Citi credit cards.

The brand's rewards program is called MyCard Rewards. It's a new brand and we don't have a lot of details about the rewards program yet. But we know which cards will let you earn rewards points and the earn rates on those cards.

Velocity and Flybuys Points transfers

In addition to cashbacks and giftcards, a key feature of MyCard Rewards is that you can transfer the rewards points to Velocity Points and Flybuys Points.

How can I earn MyCard Rewards Points?

You earn MyCard Rewards Points when you spend money using an eligible MyCard Rewards credit card.

  • Spending on eligible transactions. The points you earn depend on your credit card's earn rate. MyCard earn rates range from 1 point per dollar to 3 points per dollar. Eligible transactions include most types of spending but excludes things like cash advances, bank fees, government payments and gambling transactions.
  • Bonus points offers. MyCard credit cards don't currently have any bonus points offers when new customers sign up. But that may change soon.

Which credit cards earn MyCard Rewards Points?

MyCard currently has 3 rewards cards that let you earn MyCard Rewards:

  • MyCard Rewards credit card. This card is the entry level card with an annual fee of $199 and the lowest earn rate.
  • MyCard Premier credit card. This card is the mid-level card with an annual fee of $300 that lets you earn more points on international and online spending.
  • MyCard Prestige credit card. This card is the most premium level card
  • with an annual fee of $700 and the highest earn rate, plus extra perks.

What can I use MyCard Rewards Points for?

You can use MyCard Rewards Points to:

  • Pay with Points. You can turn points into a credit back on purchases.
  • Get giftcards. MyCard says there are over 50 brands and stores where you can redeem points for giftcards.
  • Get a cashback on your annual fee. You can use points to pay for your card's annual fee.
  • Points transfers. You can transfer MyCard Rewards Points to Velocity Points or Flybuys Points.

How much are MyCard Rewards Points worth?

At the time of writing we don't know a lot about the value of MyCard Rewards Points. We will know more once the cards are available for new customers and information about redemption rates and values are made public.
