ANZ complimentary credit card travel insurance is generally available to eligible cardholders aged under 81 years of age at the time of activation. Those aged 81 or older are typically not eligible for the standard complimentary coverage provided with ANZ credit cards.

I’m afraid that the complimentary travel insurance of ANZ doesn’t cover snow sports or skiing. You can compare Ski travel insurance instead. You can take out an additional/premium cover for snow sports and it won’t void either policy. As a friendly reminder, carefully review the Product Disclosure Statement of the product before applying. You may also contact the insurance provider should you have any questions about their policy.

Aside from using your participating ANZ Black credit card to pay for some of your trip that is at least AUD$250, some of the eligibility requirements are:
1. You should be an Australian citizen, resident, or the holder of a visa that allows you to live and work in Australia (including a 457).
2. You must have spent at least 75% of your time in Australia in the 12 months before your trip. New residents and visa holders who have been in Australia for less than a year can get cover if they have been in Australia for at least 75% of the time since they gained their residency or visa.
3. You must have a valid return ticket to Australia.
4. You have to be 80 years of age or under on the day you activated the insurance policy and no pre-existing medical condition.
