This charity credit card offers you a way to support creatures great and small, with Bendigo Bank donating a percentage of your monthly spend to the RSPCA Adoptapet program. You can also choose to have a tax-deductible $5 donation debited from your account each month, with a receipt provided annually.

In terms of costs, the Bendigo Bank RSPCA Mastercard offers the same standard variable interest rate for purchases and balance transfers, currently 19.99% p.a. It also has a competitive annual fee of $45 and offers up to 55 days interest-free on purchases when you pay your balance in full by the due date on each statement.

  • Interest rates. This card has a standard variable interest rate of 19.99% p.a. for purchases and balance transfers. It also has a cash advance interest rate of 21.99% p.a. that applies when you use your card to get cash out, make BPAY payments or for any other cash advance transaction.
  • Cash advance fee. If you use your card to get cash out, you'll be charged a fee worth $3.25 or 0.5% of the transaction amount, whichever is greater
  • Additional cardholders. You can request an additional card for your partner or family member at no extra cost. Note you will still be responsible for managing the account.
  • Monthly interest calculations. While most credit card providers calculate interest from the date a purchase is made (and charge it monthly on your statement), Bendigo Bank calculates interest from the statement date. This means if you carry a balance, you’ll be charged less interest than you would with another credit card.
  • Minimum payment. The minimum you can pay for each statement period is $10 or 3% per month whichever is greater.
  • International transaction fee. This card charges a fee worth 3% of each transaction made in a international currency.
