Card benefits
25,000 bonus Qantas Points. Get 25,000 bonus Qantas Points when you apply and get approved for a new Bendigo Bank Qantas Business Credit Card and register for Qantas Business Rewards for free. These points will be credited to your Qantas Business Rewards account within 90 days of account opening.
Qantas Points per $1 spent. You'll earn 0.6 Qantas Points per $1 spent on most eligible purchases, 0.3 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible utilities and government charges, and 1.6 Qantas Points per $1 spent on selected Qantas products and services. Eligible purchases cover most spending but excludes transactions such as fees, cash-equivalent spending, balance transfers and gambling transactions. Note that Qantas Points are capped at 30,000 per statement period, or 360,000 per year.
Complimentary Qantas Business Rewards membership. To earn Qantas Points through this card, you need to link it to a Qantas Business Rewards accounts (rather than a personal Qantas Frequent Flyer account). While the membership fee is normally $89.50, this fee is waived if you're approved for the card.
Discounted Qantas flights and Qantas Club membership. As a member of Qantas Business Rewards, you and your employees can enjoy 30% off on Level 2 and Level 3 memberships, while Level 1 members can get 20% off.
Complimentary insurance. This card offers complimentary domestic travel insurance, extended warranty insurance and purchase protection insurance for eligible purchases made with the card.
Accounting software integration. You can get data feeds set up from this account to MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks. This can save you time on manually importing information about each transaction.
Mobile payment technology. Make contactless payments from your mobile devices via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Fitbit Pay or Garmin Pay.
Rates & fees
Annual fee. Each card linked to your Bendigo Bank Qantas Business Credit Card account will attract an annual fee of $89. While this could be affordable for a couple of people, it could end up costing a lot if you want more employees to have their own cards linked to the account.
Interest rates. The variable interest rate for purchases is 19.99% p.a., while for cash advances you'll pay 21.99% p.a.
Interest-free days. Bendigo Bank offers up to 55 days interest-free on purchases for each statement period. This is made up of your 30-day statement cycle and the 25 days to your due date, which gives you a way to avoid interest charges on your business spending.
International transaction fee. This card charges a fee of 3% for transactions made in other currencies.
