      Hi Lawrence,

Thanks for your question. There are five travel insurance brands currently in our panel that offer annual policies to those over the age of 75: Budget Direct, InsureandGo, Southern Cross Travel Insurance (SCTI), Woolworths and youGo.

You will need to calculate whether or not an annual policy will be providing you with value for money. You may want to read our travel insurance guide that will help you know when is annual travel insurance worth the money.

Generally, we found that travellers will need to make more than three trips per year for the policy to be of value. However, this will be dependent on a travellers age, duration of trip, and destination.

      I hope this was helpful,
      Richard

this means you can check every contract I have held with any insurance company,, what has my house insurance got to do with travel insurance?

*I authorise Great Lakes Australia, Travel Insurance Partners and Medibank, to give or to obtain from any other insurer, an insurance reference bureau, medical provider, lawyer, or recovery agent any information relating to any insurance held or claim made by me.

      Hi John,

Thanks for your question. finder.com.au is a comparison service and not an insurer. Insurers often share information to get a better understanding of the risk they are taking on by insuring you. For instance if you have a history of claiming for stolen items in your home.

      I hope this was helpful,
      Richard
