The Macquarie Platinum Card with Qantas Rewards combines a competitive annual fee with a decent bonus points promotion. It isn’t the biggest bonus points offer on the market, but it’s enough to book an overseas getaway. For example, you could use 20,000 Qantas Points for a return economy flight between Melbourne and Canberra (16,000 points) or a one-way economy flight between Sydney and Cairns (18,000 points).

How do you transfer a credit card balance from another bank to Macquarie platinum credit card? Will I earn Qantas ff points (only activated the credit card a week ago) when I transfer the funds?

      Hi Natalie,

Thank you for getting in touch with finder.

You can request a balance transfer when you apply for this card, or any time after by completing a balance transfer request online through Macquarie Online. Please allow up to five business days for balance transfer requests to be processed. The limit on balance transfers is equal to the credit limit on your card, less $500. Should the amount of your balance transfer exceed your limit, they will contact you before processing your request. The minimum balance transfer is $500.
