I’m a PR resident but I don’t have an annual income or bank details as I’m a new comer, So is it possible to have emirates citi world mastercard?
December 8, 2021
Hi Ahmed,
The Emirates Citi World Mastercard requires you to have a minimum annual income of $75,000 to apply. As you are on a PR visa, most credit card issuers would still require you to have regular, Australian taxable income. Aside from that, some others will need you to have a specific amount of Australian dollars in an Australian bank account. Credit cards also set minimum income conditions like the Emirates Citi World Mastercard.
However, you may want to check your options for credit cards that may accept non-resident or PR visa holders. As proof of income is an essential factor to be approved, it’s wise to check each of the eligibility requirements or criteria set by the card company before you apply.
Hope this can help.
Cheers,
Chris

Qantas premium frequent flyer seats are limited is the emirates ff program better?
May 11, 2019
Hi Geoff,
Thank you for reaching out.
Each frequent flyer (ff) program differs on the rewards that you can get from it. You may compare Qantas FF and Skywards FF and check what do you think will be more beneficial for you. Consider which airline or airlines do you usually fly with, how many of the program partners do you already spend with, the cost and how often do you actually fly. By identifying such, you should be able to compare them and see what will best suit your preference and needs.
You can head to our article on Frequent Flyer Comparison to help you on comparing your options and I hope that you will find it helpful.
Kind Regards,
Mai

Hi Joel,
Thank you for your response. Just further to that, how long would I need to wait before I apply for an Emirates Citibank MasterCard Credit card before I would be entitled to any bonus points that they may be offering at the time?
Thanks
Jenny

Hi Jenny,
Thanks for leaving a question on finder.
As long as 6 months has passed from the day you cancelled your Emirates Citi World card, you can apply again for the same product and enjoy the bonus points.
Please send me a message if you need anything else. :)
Cheers,
Joel

I have held an Emirates Citibank Mastercard in the past. I cancelled it 6 months ago. If I apply for a new Emirates Citibank Mastercard will I be entitled to the bonus skyward miles?
October 9, 2018
Hi Jenny,
Thanks for leaving a question on finder.
You will not be eligible for the promotion if you have held an Emirates Credit Card in the past 6 months. Please note that you need to have $75,000 as your annual income to be qualified as well.
Please send me a message if you need anything else. :)
Cheers,
Joel

is there expiry time on Emirates points?
January 23, 2018
Hi Faran,
Thanks for your question. Your Skywards Miles are valid for three years from the date of travel. Within the calendar year that Skywards Miles are due to expire, they will be removed from your account at the end of the month in which you were born.
For example, if you earned Miles in June 2016 and your birthday is in August, these Miles will expire on 31st August 2019.
Cheers!
Joel
