    Hi
Is it possible to cancel an online purchase and have the payment reversed? I purchased a mobile phone online a week ago. The business immediately took payment, but I have not received any correspondence from them nor received the item. I have also found numerous complaints from other customers with similar stories on the internet. Have contacted this business several times via email and phone with no response. Their website is now closed for maintenance. Is there anything I can do to get my money back?
    Regards
    Fiona

      Hi Fiona.

      Thanks for your question.

You may be able to order a chargeback. This is where you make a dispute with the merchant over a transaction. One of the most common reasons for ordering a chargeback is when the goods or services are not delivered. You will need to get in touch with NAB to lodge the dispute.

      I hope this helps.

Please advise if the calls from 1300 661114 are actually from the NAB or are fraudulent.
this number has been used for a number of years and has recently been very active in claiming it is from the NAB.
If they are fraudulent, please act immediately to shut this nefarious activity down. If they are not fraudulent, please improve the contact service skills of the call centre.
    Regards
    Troy

What is the interest on $5,000 cash advance on a MasterCard for 25 days?

      Default GravatarFinder
      JacobJuly 15, 2013Finder

      Hi Roy,

      Thanks for your question.

Currently, all NAB credit cards we compare (except their business payments card) have the same cash advance rate, which is generally the case for most cards offered by most providers. If you’re looking for short-term access to cash, you may want to consider a personal loan.

Before applying, please ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria and read through the details of the needed requirements as well as the relevant Product Disclosure Statements/Terms and Conditions when comparing your options before making a decision on whether it is right for you.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Jacob

I hold a NAB a platinum One MasterCard, does this give me full travel insurance in Australia and overseas of I purchase tickets on the card?

      Default GravatarFinder
      JacobJuly 15, 2013Finder

Hi Sandra. Thanks for your question. NAB have since rebranded their platinum credit cards to premium credit cards. The products are the same, only the name has changed. The NAB Premium Card does currently offer complimentary international travel insurance. According to the terms and conditions, the cover is active when, ‘Prior to the commencement of your overseas journey, you have paid a minimum of $500 in pre paid overseas transport costs (including travel by air, rail, road or watercraft); and or accommodation costs; and or organised land tour costs all of which are inclusive of any charges, fees and or taxes (excluding foreign currency and traveller’s cheques) with your NAB Card account.’ I hope this helps. Jacob.
