Every time a person that is on the pension, you don’t even get looked at. All I want to get a credit card with $2,000.
Hi, Natalie.
Thanks for your question.
If you’re on a pension, you can still apply for the card as long as you meet the eligibility requirements set out on the review and application pages. If you’ve been previously rejected for a credit card in recent months, it may be a good idea to wait for a couple of months before applying again. Too many credit card applications in a short space of time can have a negative impact on your chances of getting credit in the future.
I hope this helps.
Hi, Natalie.
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Pensioners are able to apply for a credit card, the important thing is that you meet the application requirements. You can find these requirements listed in the table at the bottom of each card’s review and application page.
Although some of these offers are online only, or exclusive to our comparison site, you can apply for a card in person too. It may be worth having a discussion with the lender face to face.
I hope this helps.
What is the minimum after-tax income requirement for a NAB low rate/low fee credit card? It doesn’t specify
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your comment.
NAB assesses each application on a case by case basis. To apply for a NAB credit card you need to be at least 18 years old and have a good credit rating – if you’re earning a regular income or salary, then NAB will allocate a credit limit based on your income.
If you’re not earning a regular income or salary, NAB recommends that you contact them directly.
Cheers,
Shirley
What are the credit cards that give free travel insurance?

Thanks for your question.
You can compare credit cards with travel insurance using our comparison table. Please press the ‘Go to site’ button of your preferred card to apply.
I hope this helps.

Hi…
An online calculator with major bank says I have “available monthly income” of $766 and I have significant assets and no debt.
What is maximum credit limit I could expect to achieve ?
Hi John.
Thanks for your question.
We’re unable to comment on what credit limit you will be assigned if you apply for a card as the bank and lenders all have internal systems that are unknown to the public. A general comment is that you need an income of $15,000 p.a. to be eligible for a credit limit of $500.
Apologies for the lack of information on this one.
Jacob.
Can I get 3 cards with this rewards card?
Hi Bill.
Thanks for your question.
Which card are you referring to? If you would like to see how many additional cardholders you can have with a particular account, and how much each will cost, please have a look at the ‘fees and repayments’ tab at the bottom of the card’s review page.
I hope this helps.
