Get money off your shopping at Coles

If you want to use rewards to save on your supermarket shopping, you can you can redeem a minimum of 2,000 Flybuys points for $10 off at participating Coles Supermarkets. Known as Flybuys Dollars, you can also use this reward to get money off shopping at other partners including Kmart, Target and Coles Express.

Credit card instalment plans

Coles credit cards offer three types of instalment plans, which give you a way to pay off your credit card balance over a set period of time, with fixed monthly repayments that can make it easier to budget. The options available depend on the type of spending or balance and are subject to eligibility.

PlanDescription
Statement instalmentsConvert retail purchases from your closing balance into a structured payment plan, with a minimum of $500 and monthly instalment repayments.
Transaction instalmentsConvert new shopping to a payment plan before it shows up on your statement. You can do this with any eligible purchase over $50.
Cash instalmentsAccess a minimum of $500 and up to 90% of your available credit limit as cash for bills, study or anything else you need and pay it off in instalments. This option is similar to a small personal loan, but make sure you check the rates and fees so you know how much it will cost before you get it.

You can check if you're eligible for an instalment plan by calling Coles Mastercard on 1300 066 985. Once a plan is set up, you'll see details on your credit card statement. Learn more about using instalment plans on a credit card to see if they'll work for you.

Can you pay your Coles Mastercard off using flybuys points?

      Hi Janet.

You can’t redeem your flybuys points for money off your credit card, but you can turn your flybuys points into flybuys dollars, which you can use towards your next purchase at select stores.

      Thanks for your question.

      Jacob.

Do you send statements and how do I find out how much I have spent before a statement arrives? Is there a bank I can pay my card?

      Hi Joe.

You can view your transaction history through the Coles Online Banking facility. Log in to the Coles MasterCard website to track your spending, manage rewards points balance, make payments and manage your account. You will need to register your card for online banking after you receive it.

You will also get monthly credit card statement sent you in the mail. There may be a fee for receiving paper statements; however, you can elect to receive paperless statements from the lender, which don’t cost you anything.

If you’re looking to pay your credit card, you can do it in the following ways: At Australia Post, by sending a cheque in the mail, over the counter at any Kmart and Target Stores, by direct debit from a savings or transaction account or by BPAY from another account.

      Thanks for your question.

      Lisa,
I was declined too – no reason stated.
      Not happy Jan.
Talk about a good way to lose customers.

      Hi Lisa,

      Thanks for your question.

There’s a condition on the Westpac application page that states that it helps if you are the primary income earner – this may have been an issue but in our experience, this should have no bearing on the status of your application if you meet the minimum income requirements.

It may also be the case that the wrong information was entered into the system and they have declined your application due to incorrect details, you should follow them up to make sure that everything is correct. You may a;also refer to our guide on how to check your credit card application status that may be helpful for you.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,

Thank you for the opportunity to ask a question.
The “no fee” Master Card sounds as though it would meet my needs.
How would I cancel my existing “Holden” Master Card and how would I arrange for existing arrangements for monthly payments of E-Tag and newspaper to continue?
    Thank you.
    Lionel.

Hi Lionel. Thanks for your question and the pleasure is all ours.
To cancel you old credit card, all you need to do is make sure the account has been paid in full and then you’ll need to contact your lender and request that they cancel your card. This can be done over the phone.
You will need to contact the merchants you currently have a direct debit agreement and get them to change your billing information. This can be done over the phone too. To set up new direct debit agreements, you’ll need to download a direct debit request form, you can find this document on the lender’s website.
      I hope this has helped.
      Jacob.

      Hi Bernie,

      Thanks for your question.

You should have an answer within minutes of completing your application. Please contact the card issuer directly to check on the status of your credit card application. A gentle reminder, please ensure to read through the relevant product disclosure statement and terms and conditions to ensure that you got everything covered before you apply.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Jacob
