Earn up to 10 bonus points per dollar spent at the ANZ Rewards Bonus Points Mall.

ANZ Rewards credit card holders can now earn bonus points with some of Australia’s biggest and most popular retailers through the new Bonus Points Mall. Like the Qantas Points Online Mall and Virgin Australia’s Velocity eStore, shoppers can collect points when they visit the ANZ Rewards website, click through to a participating retailer and completing their purchase in the same session. Plus, the points you earn are a bonus on top of any points you’d regularly earn with your ANZ Rewards card.

Some of the retailers ANZ has scored partnerships with include iTunes, David Jones, THE ICONIC, Country Road and Wotif. The earn rates vary according to the retailer, though. So while you might earn 10 bonus points per $1 spent at ASOS, you’ll earn 6 points for every dollar spent at Samsung. You can see the full comparison of how many points you’ll earn with each participating merchant in the table below.

Once you’ve made the purchase, the bonus points will then be awarded to your ANZ Rewards account. You have two main redemption options with ANZ Rewards. Firstly, you can leave them as ANZ Rewards to redeem for travel perks, entertainment rewards such as movie vouchers and adrenalin experiences, homewares, gift cards and more. Otherwise, if you’re a frequent flyer, you can convert your points into flight rewards with Virgin Australia’s Velocity, Cathay Pacific’s Asia Miles, Singapore Airline’s KrisFlyer and Air New Zealand’s Airpoints.

However, you’ll find that the exchange rate is less competitive if you trade your points for frequent flyer points over leaving them as Awards points. For example, 10 Velocity Points is equal to 5 Velocity Points, 3.33 Asia Miles and KrisFlyer miles and 0.5 Airpoints. So make sure to compare your options to get the most value out of your reward points.

This bonus points perk isn't available to all ANZ customers, though. Only cardholders with the ANZ Rewards Black, ANZ Rewards Platinum, ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure or ANZ Rewards cards can take advantage of the Bonus Points Mall. It’s also important to remember that these deals don’t apply to in-store purchases and you’ll only collect when you make purchases through the Bonus Points Mall rather than directly through the retailer’s website.

If you do own an eligible ANZ card, the ANZ Rewards Bonus Points Mall is an easy way to boost your points balance on everyday purchases. You can browse exactly how many points you can earn per $1 spent through the Bonus Points Mall in the table below.
