The Latitude Infinity Rewards card offers uncapped points on your everyday spending, with rewards including gift cards, experiences and retail items. While it doesn’t offer frequent flyer point transfers or a travel booking option, you can redeem points for a flight voucher with Jetstar or Qantas.

One of the highlights of this rewards program is that it gives you a clear value for gift card redemption: 1%. So, if you wanted to redeem a $100 gift card or voucher, you’d need 10,000 points. This simple structure makes it easier to work out if the rewards will be worth it for you. Basically, if you spend more than $6,900 per year on the card, you’ll have enough points for a gift card that balances out the annual fee. Note that this redemption rate does not apply to merchandise or experiences.

How to apply

You can apply for the Latitude Infinity Rewards card online in a few minutes and should get a response within 60 seconds of submission. Before you get started, check that you meet the following eligibility criteria and have all the details and documents needed for the application.

Eligibility criteria

  • Residency. You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or a temporary resident with a visa that is valid for at least 12 months from the date you apply for this card.
  • Age. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Card benefits

  • Uncapped points. You'll collect 1 point per $1 spent on eligible purchases. This covers most everyday spending, including groceries, petrol, dining out, travel and retail shopping. Transactions that won't earn points include cash transactions, cash equivalent transactions, extended interest-free promotional purchases, balance transfers, insurance premiums and interest, as well as other fees and charges.
  • Infinity Rewards program. This program has three categories for rewards: home, experiences and gift cards. It also gives you a fast way to calculate the value of your points for gift cards, with 5,000 points equalling a $50 gift card. When you factor in what you spend to earn enough points for a gift card, this gives you a cash back redemption rate of 1%. Note that the value you get from your points will vary more if you use your points to redeem experiences or retail items.

Rates & fees

  • Annual fee. This card charges an annual fee of $69 p.a., which is competitive when compared to other rewards credit cards.
  • Purchase interest rate. Purchases on this card will attract an interest rate of 20.69% p.a.

How does one receive points? Is it from the Visa card, or is another “rewards” card necessary? Please advise as I feel a bit confused. I was quite happy with Myer one system so would have been happy to continue with similar card.

      Hi Jan,

      Thanks for your inquiry

If you have the Latitude Infinity Rewards card, you will earn uncapped points by using this card for purchases. But as this is a new program, you’ll have to wait until December 2017 before you can redeem anything.

      Hope this information helps

      Cheers,
      Arnold

What I want to know.Is this a replacement card for my Myer visa/Myer one card. Is the Myer visa now obsolete. If it is still in circulation, I would not have changed
