Do all complimentary credit card insurance require the flights to be purchased or could it be just associated costs like car rental and accommodation?

I am heading overseas and I am lucky enough to not need to pay for me flights but I still need to cover my expenses including accommodation etc.

      Hi Adam,

      Thank you for contacting Finder.

For the Complimentary Travel Insurance from St.George, one of their eligibility requirements is that you must spend at least $500 using your St.George Credit Card for prepaid travel expenses such as car rental or flight booking. You may read this page to know more about the Complimentary Travel Insurance from St.George Bank.

      I hope this helps.

      Hi Michelle,

Thanks for your question. As it says on the terms and conditions of this card, existing customers who currently hold an Amplify Platinum or Amplify Signature card issued by St.George, Bank of Melbourne or BankSA, or who have held one in the last 12 months, are not eligible for this offer.

      Hope this helps!
