Hi Debra,
The terms and conditions say the points will be credited within 12 weeks of qualifying, but in practice most bonus points are credited a little sooner. If you meet the minimum spend requirement in October, for instance, your points should be credited by January, but you may see them arrive in December. If they don’t arrive by February, it would be worth contacting them to confirm your points. Best of luck with it!

Hi when it says earn pts on eligible transactions – what does that mean? Is there only certain bills you can pay to earn pts or shops you can shop at? Thanks

Hi Debra,
Eligible transactions include all types of everyday spending, like groceries, cafes, bars, restaurants, concert tickets and bills (provided they’re not paid via Bpay). Ineligible transactions include things like cash advances, interest payments, refunds, gambling purchases and fees. Hope this helps!

To get the bonus points, do I have to spend $1500 every months for the first two months? Or $1500 for the two months?
Also, can I pay bills, insurance, petrol….etc and these are eligible purchases?

Hi Hany,
It’s a total of $1500 over two months, not $1500 each month. Also, eligible transactions mean everyday spending like all of the things you mentioned – just be sure then when you pay bills, you are making a payment with your credit card not making a BPAY payment, as BPAY transactions don’t earn points or count towards your minimum spend. Bpay payment may even be classified as a cash advance, meaning you pay interest immediately. Hope this helps!

Hi Kanav,
Thanks for getting in touch. I’ve just reviewed the page information and we’ve mistakenly said it’s for permanent residents only. It’s not. We have amended the page information. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Hi Mike, Virgin’s conditions state this card is not available to existing card holders, but doesn’t specify a time frame for former card holders. So if you’ve had the card before but it isn’t currently active, you potentially will still be eligible.

Hi Sarah, thanks so much for your reply. Can i also just ask, when do we receive our additional bonus FF points, as per the conditions if we spend $1500 we receive 25k each month for 2 months? Do you know when that takes place? Many thanks Debra
