Pros

  • Comprehensive cover from PD is budget-friendly and cheaper than most brands.
  • Add the excess-buster feature to remove the excess from one claim a year.
  • No-excess windscreen repair is included in comprehensive cover as standard.

Cons

  • If you want vehicle contents covered, you'll have to pay extra (and it's capped at $750).
  • Hire car cover is limited at $50 a day for 14 days - lower than many other brands.
  • Up to $500 is covered for emergency repairs but some brands offer up to $1,000.
