What cover does Qantas Car Insurance offer?

Qantas Comprehensive Car Insurance covers you for loss or damage to your car due to an accident, even if you're at fault, given all available evidence, it is reasonable for us to decide if the driver of the car is partially or entirely at fault. You will also be covered for severe weather, fire, theft, storm damage and flood damage, vandalism and liability for accidental damage your car causes to other people's property.

Third Party Property, Fire and Theft cover includes liability for accidental damage your car causes to other people's property and damage to your car if it's stolen or goes on fire. It won't cover you for damage to your car from an accident.

Third Party Property Only is the least comprehensive policy and only covers you for accidental damage your car causes to other people's property.

What else can I get with a comprehensive policy?

  • Choice of Repairer - If you have a car repairer you have used in the past and trust, Qantas will allow you to use them if you add this feature to your Comprehensive Car Insurance policy.
