Can you make a cash transfer to your mortgage and still pay no interest.
Does the 0% interest get reset every year when the debt goes back to zero.

Hi Christopher,
The current 0% purchase rate offer is only available for purchases made with the card in the first 12 months. This means a cash transfer or withdrawal would be considered a cash advance transaction and attract interest straight away.
After the first 12 months (when the introductory period ends), the variable purchase rate would apply to any purchase balance on the account. But you could get interest-free days on purchases if you paid the total monthly payment balance listed on each statement by the due date. I hope that helps.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for getting in touch! St. George sends monthly paper statements but if you are looking to change the way you view your bill, you may do so by:
#1 logging in to your St. George website,
#2 Select Manage my accounts from the left hand navigation menu.
#3 Select Manage eStatements.
#4 Change your statement preference to eStatement.
#5.Click Agree.
Note that you can also view your bill on the St. George App. You can also contact St. George via their Customer Service line or visit a branch whichever is most convenient for you, to help you get started on changing this option.
Hope this helps!
Best,
Nikki

I just want to confirm, this is a $0 sign up fee and no annual fee for the life of the card? Also, it is a 55-day interest-free period? Meaning, I wont get charged interest on any purchase made up to 55 days?

Hi Brett,
Thanks for leaving a question on our page.
The St. George Credit Card has:
1. 0% p.a. for the first 12 months, with a one-time 1% balance transfer fee. This will revert to the variable cash advance rate of 21.49% p.a. at the end of the promotional period.
2. No annual fee for the life of the card
3. The 55-day interest-free period is activated (on purchases) when you pay the closing balance in full by the due date on each statement. If you have a balance transfer debt or if you don’t pay the total owed on a statement, you won’t be eligible for interest-free days. Interest-free days also don’t apply to cash advances.
Hope this helps! For any further questions, feel free to reach out to us again, we’re here to help.
Cheers,
Nikki

What is the max balance transfer I can do on this card. Is there any limit?

Hi Bala,
Thanks for your question.
For this card, the maximum amount that you can balance transfer depends on your approved credit limit. You are allowed to transfer up to 95% of your available credit limit.
