Hi Amy,

I’m a velocity member. If I take up this offer – are the points transfer to velocity 1:1? Also, can a second card be issued and linked to the account?

Hi Jason,

The points transfer to Velocity 2:1. This means that the current bonus of up to 150,000 Amplify Points bonus is equivalent to 75,000 points when transferred to Velocity Frequent Flyer.

Yes, you can get an additional cardholder with a $0 fee.

Hope this helps!

Hi Natalie,

The airport lounge passes are provided through Priority Pass, which has an airport lounge search tool on its website. Finder’s guide to Priority Pass also has examples of lounges around the world. I hope this helps.

Hi Gill,

You can choose to transfer St.George Amplify Points to your Velocity Frequent Flyer account at any time, as long as you have a minimum of 3,000 points available. You also get 2 complimentary Priority Pass lounge passes each year you have the card, which gives you access to more than 1,400+ participating airport lounges around the world. You can also pay for further visits each year, with the costs available through Priority Pass. I hope this helps.

Hi Amy,

You can choose between earning Amplify Points or Qantas Points with this card, but the number of points are different and there is a yearly Qantas Rewards fee. Check out Finder’s St.George Amplify Signature Qantas Card Review. And if you choose Amplify Points, you can transfer them to Velocity Frequent Flyer or Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer. I hope this helps.

Is there a minimum annual income for this card?

Hi Zeph,

There is no specific minimum income requirement listed for this card, but you need to earn a regular, Australian-taxable income that St.George can verify.

Keep in mind that income is only one of the factors used to assess credit card applications. Other key factors include your employment status, assets and savings, existing debt and regular expenses. I hope that helps.
