How to apply
You can apply for the Latitude GO Mastercard online in less than 10 minutes by filling out a secure application form. Before you get started, make sure you meet the following eligibility requirements and have all the documents and details you need handy.
Eligibility criteria
- Residency. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. If you are a temporary resident and want to apply, you must have a valid visa with at least 12 months remaining.
- Credit history. Latitude Financial will conduct a credit check when you apply. You can check your own credit score for free through Finder before you apply to help determine if this card is right for you.
- Age. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Required documents
- Personal details. This includes your full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, residential address, marital status and number of dependents. You also need to provide a valid form of ID, such as your driver's licence number.
- Employment details. You will be asked for details including your salary, job title, length of employment and employer's contact details. You may also be asked for recent payslips, bank statements or other documents that verify this information.
- Financial details. This covers other forms of income, such as pension or government payments, your assets and savings, as well as any existing loans, cards and debts. You also need to share details of your regular household expenses, such as rent or mortgage payments, bills and groceries.
Card benefits
- $300 Credit Back. Get a $300 Credit Back on your Latitude GO Mastercard when you apply, get approved by 31 July 2026, and spend at least $2,000 per month on eligible purchases for 3 consecutive months from the date of card approval.
- Balance transfer offer. Save with a 0% p.a. interest rate on balance transfers for 12 months (with a one-time 3% balance transfer fee). At the end of the introductory period, any remaining balance will revert to the cash advance rate, currently 29.99% p.a. New customers must be approved by 17 June 2026 and the balance transfer application must be submitted by 31 July 2026.
- Interest-free payment plans. You can get access to 3 payments plans to pay off your purchases interest-free, which include:
- Equal monthly. This plan lets you make the same payment each month, for an agreed number of months. You're also able to make extra repayments during your plan term.
- Minimum monthly. With this plan, you only need to pay a minimum payment each month. But if you don't repay the full amount by the end of the plan period you get charged interest. You're also able to make extra repayments during your plan term.
- Deferred payment plan. This plan lets you avoid paying anything upfront, allowing you to pay off your spending as you like. But if you don't repay the full amount by the end of the plan period you get charged interest.
- 6 months' interest-free. Latitude also offers you 6 months interest-free on eligible purchases of $250. Just select it in the Latitude App within 30 days to access the feature and have 6 months to repay your purchase with no fees and only minimum monthly payments required.
- Mobile payments. You can link your Latitude GO Mastercard with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay to tap and pay with your smartphone or device. You can also use your fitness tracker to make contactless payments with Garmin Pay.
Rates & fees
- Account-servicing fee. This card charges a monthly account-servicing fee of $10.95. This could add up to a total of $131.40 per year.
- Purchase interest rate. When you make purchases on your card, excluding those that are under a 0% interest plan, you'll be charged a rate of 28.49% p.a.
- Interest-free days. When you pay your balance in full, not including balances part of the 0% payment plans, you'll get up to 55 days interest-free on your other purchases.
- Cash advance rate. When you use your card for a cash advance transaction, you'll be charged a rate of 29.99% p.a.
- Expired promotional purchase rate. If you don't pay off the balance of your 0% interest plan before it ends, any remaining balance will be charged interest at a rate of 29.99% p.a. (variable).
