How to apply

You can apply for the David Jones Premiere Credit Card online by filling in a secure application form. Before you begin your application, make sure you meet the eligibility requirements and have the necessary information ready.

Eligibility criteria

Residency. You must be an Australian resident or a temporary resident legally authorized to work in Australia, with plans to stay for at least the next 12 months.
Age. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Credit history. You must have no history of bad debt or payment defaults. If you're unsure of your credit score or what's on your file, you can get a free copy of your credit report through Finder.

Required documents

Personal details. This includes your full name, contact information, and proof of your identity, such as your Australian driver's licence, Medicare card, or passport.
Financial details. This includes information about your income, savings, assets, investments, and any existing loans, credit cards, or other debts. You will also be asked to estimate your regular household spending on essentials.

Card benefits

First-year annual fee waiver. There's a $0 annual fee in the first year when you apply by 30 April 2026 and make a purchase in the first 90 days (annual fee is $99 p.a. in the second year).
Points per $1 spent. You'll earn 2 points per $1 spent at David Jones, 3 points per $1 spent at participating supermarkets and petrol stations, and 1 point per $1 spent on all other eligible purchases.

David Jones benefits. Use this card for your purchases at David Jones and unlock exclusive perks, such as complimentary gift wrapping, in-store alterations, and priority delivery on items. You'll also receive exclusive invitations to special events and previews.
Hotel benefits. Enjoy a 6% discount on selected accommodation with and a 10% discount at selected hotels (Capped at $300 per booking) through Expedia and Wotif via the Latitude App.
Mobile wallets. You can link your David Jones Premiere Credit Card to Samsung Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay to make contactless payments using your compatible device at the checkout.

Annual fee. Outside of any promotions, the David Jones Premiere Credit Card has a $99 annual fee. A $24 annual fee applies if you choose to add an additional cardholder.
Interest rates. Outside of any promotions, this card charges an interest rate of 23.99% p.a. on purchases and 24.99% p.a. on cash advances.

Interest-free period. Get up to 55 days interest-free on everyday purchases if you pay your closing balance in full.
