I am retired with a defined benefit pension of over $25,000 pa, is a statement from my super fund showing annual defined income adequate for your application?

    • Staff
      Anndy | February 14, 2017

      Hi GB,

      Thanks for your question.

Coles accepts credit card applicants who are retired or are receiving pensions, but subject to eligibility criteria.

For retired applicants, this will depend on your level of income. If you’re a self-funded retiree with a superannuation income, you’ll need to provide a recent superannuation statement. If you have a term deposit, you’ll need to provide your term deposit statement. If you have an investment property, you can submit the 3 most recent rental income statements.

For pensioners, it depends on your source of your pension. If it’s from Centrelink, you’ll need to provide a pension statement. If it’s from the Department of Veteran Affairs, you’ll need to provide statements from there.

You may also check this page to compare other lenders who consider retired or pensioner borrowers.

      Cheers,
      Anndy

What does it mean by Minimum Monthly repayment – 2.22% or $10 (whichever is greater)?

    • Staff
      Anndy | February 6, 2017

      Hi Thi,

      Thanks for your question.

The minimum monthly repayment represents the minimum amount that you should pay in case you are not able to pay your balance in full. In case the resulting computation using the 2.22% is lower than $10, you’ll have $10 as the minimum repayment for that month.

      Cheers,
      Anndy

do you receive $100 off offer for an additional card holder

    • Staff
      May | February 3, 2017

      Hi Nig,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

I’m afraid that the $100 off for a single Coles Supermarket shop is for a new primary cardholder only and does not apply to additional cardholders.

      Hi BS,

      Thanks for your question.

The minimum credit limit that you can be approved for the Coles No Annual Fee MasterCard is $500, however, for the maximum credit limit, this will be determined by Coles depending on their assessment of your financial position, credit rating, and overall ability to repay.

Hope this has answered your question.

      Hi Qing,

      Thanks for your questions.

      1. Does the Coles no fee credit card offer complimentary travel insurance if I pay the travel cost by this card?
Unfortunately, complimentary travel insurance is not among the benefits of the Coles No Annual Fee MasterCard. The credit cards that have complimentary travel insurance benefits are found on this page.

      2. I earn less than $25,000/year, which isn’t enough to meet the criteria. But I have a NAB VISA card. Can I transfer the NAB card to Coles no fee master card without the criteria of $25,000 income?
To apply for the balance transfer, you must go through the card application process, which means that you’ll need to get approved by meeting the eligibility criteria of the card, which for this Coles No Annual Fee MasterCard, you will need to meet the income criteria of $25,000 per annum. With that, the balance transfer will only be accepted if you’re approved for the card when you apply.
