Why Business Black credit card does not start with Points Bonus like the personal Black Card that will let you earn 65,000 points?

      Hello Cono,

      Thank you for your comment.

Credit cards have different issuers and different rewards system. This is the reason why you get to compare which credit card product will suit you well. So basically, the bonus points as introductory offer of credit card products will depend on its rewards system.

According to ANZ this card cannot be set up as a bank feed to Xero. I had a replacement card sent to me and it no longer allows bank feeds from ANZ to Xero…
    Can you please confirm this?

re the ANZ business black credit card is there a limit to the number of points you can earn per statement period and per year? The info on your site was not consistent with what I was told by ANZ on the phone.

      Hi Des,

      Thanks for your question.

I’ve checked the terms and conditions of ANZ Business Black Card’s rewards program and I can’t find any reference to points cap. However, it was mentioned that if you are the primary cardholder, you can set a monthly spend cap for each additional cardholder to match your budget.

      Cheers,

    What are considered eligible purchases?

    • finder Customer Care
      MayAugust 16, 2016Staff

      Hi Andrew,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

As listed in the fine prints on ANZ website:

      1. Eligible purchases exclude interest, government charges, fees, balance transfers and cash and cash equivalent transactions.

      2. Eligible overseas purchases include eligible purchases in a currency other than Australian dollars or where the merchant or financial institution is located outside of Australia, but do not include taxation payments made overseas. Taxation payments include all payments to the Australian Taxation Office and other taxation bodies.

      Cheers,
      May

I thought that I read yesterday that the initial annual fee was waived on the Business Black credit card. Is this the case for new applications?

      LouJune 15, 2016Staff

      Hi Darron,

      Thanks for your comment.

Unfortunately, the annual fee is not waived on the ANZ Business Black Card. So if you have this card, you’ll have to pay the annual fee of $450.

      Cheers,

Good afternoon, I saw this below in ANZ terms & conditions which I assume means you can no longer earn points for tax payments? (23) Exceptions.

    (a) Points will not accrue in relation to interest charges, premiums paid for ANZ Credit Card Insurance, government charges, bank fees, payments made to the Australian Taxation Office, card account adjustments resulting from disputed transactions or otherwise, balance transfers, cash advance (as defined in the ANZ Credit Cards Conditions of Use).

      Hi Mick,

      Thanks for your comment.

It could be that the T&Cs you’ve found is applicable for the other ANZ credit cards. As for the ANZ Business Black Card, you are still eligible to earn 0.5 Reward Point per $1 spent on taxation payments (including overseas taxation payments). Please refer to the ANZ Business One Rewards T&Cs I’ve forwarded to your email for reference.

When you earn 1 ANZ reward point for every dollar spent, does this convert to 1 Qantas frequent flyer point?

    • finder Customer Care
      MayMay 13, 2016Staff

      Hi Linda,

      Thanks for your question.

Depending on the type of ANZ credit card, you can convert your reward points to Qantas FF points:

      1. ANZ Frequent Flyer Black
AMEX = 1.5 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases; VISA = 0.75 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases

      2. ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum AMEX = 1.5 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases; VISA = 0.5 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases

      3. ANZ Frequent FlyerAMEX = 1 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases; VISA = 0.5 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases

For further information on points conversion to Qantas, please refer to the link I have sent to your email.

      I hope this is helpful.

Hi Guys I have an ANZ Black Frequent Flier Visa and Amex card. Can I accrue points using these cards for ATO payments?

      Hi Martin,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

Unfortunately, the ANZ Black Frequent Flyer card does not earn points when you pay ATO bills, but the ANZ Business Black does.

With ANZ Business Black, you can earn 0.5 ANZ Reward Points for every $1 you spend on taxation payments. Other credit cards that let you earn points for ATO payments are outlined here.

      Hope this has helped.

      Cheers,
      May
