Expert review

The ANZ Business Black credit card has a relatively competitive earn rate of 1.5 points per $1 spent on eligible purchases for the first $10,000 per statement period, then 1 point per $1. You also earn points for tax payments at a rate of 0.5 points per $1. Plus, you have the potential to maximise your points with additional cards. But there is a yearly rewards fee of $75 per card.

How to apply

You can apply for the ANZ Business Black credit card online in 10 minutes. Before you apply, check if you meet the eligibility criteria and have the necessary information handy:

Eligibility criteria

  • ABN and ACN. You must have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) and Australian Company Number (ACN) to apply. You'll also need to confirm the training address, mailing address and the type of business entity. The applicant must be authorised to open an account on behalf of the business.
  • Business use. You must agree to use the card predominantly for business purposes.

Card benefits

  • First year annual fee waiver. You'll save $300 on the card's annual fee and $75 per card on the rewards fee for the first year. These fees will then be charged on the anniversary of your account opening each year. Please note that ANZ may withdraw this offer at any time.
  • Earn ANZ Rewards. You and your additional cardholders can earn 1.5 ANZ Reward Points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases domestically up to $10,000 spend per statement period and 1 Reward Point for every $1 spent thereafter (excluding taxation payments). You will earn 0.5 ANZ Reward Points for every $1 spent on taxation payments.

Rates & fees

  • Annual fee. Outside of any promotions, this card charges an annual fee of $300 p.a.
  • Purchase interest rate. Your purchases will collect interest at 20.24% p.a.

      Hi Anthony,

Thank you for reaching out to finder.

I checked on the rates and fees for ANZ Business Black card and it does not indicate a Loyalty fee. The closest I could see is the Rewards fee which is at $75 per year per card. You may also want to check with ANZ directly on the breakdown of the loyalty fee which is being charged to you for further clarification. Hope this helps!

Why Business Black credit card does not start with Points Bonus like the personal Black Card that will let you earn 65,000 points?

      Hello Cono,

      Thank you for your comment.

Credit cards have different issuers and different rewards system. This is the reason why you get to compare which credit card product will suit you well. So basically, the bonus points as introductory offer of credit card products will depend on its rewards system.

According to ANZ this card cannot be set up as a bank feed to Xero. I had a replacement card sent to me and it no longer allows bank feeds from ANZ to Xero…
    Can you please confirm this?
