The American Express Qantas Corporate charge card is designed especially for businesses with an annual turnover of more than $10 million. It offers rewards in two different ways: through a partnership with Qantas Business Rewards (including complimentary membership), as well as the optional enrolment in the Membership Rewards Spirit program.

How to apply

If you want to get the American Express Qantas Corporate card for your business, you can apply by filling out a request form on the American Express website. An American Express representative will then contact you within 2 business days to complete the application. To streamline the process, make sure you meet the eligibility requirements and have all the essential documents and details you'll need for the application.

Eligibility criteria

  • Company turnover. Your company's annual turnover must exceed $10 million if you want to apply for an American Express corporate card.
  • Business details. Your company must have an active ABN (Australian Business Number).

Card benefits

  • Triple Qantas Points on business flights. Use the American Express Qantas Corporate card to pay for eligible Qantas flights and you'll earn three times the number of Qantas Points through Qantas Business Rewards program. Eligible flights include domestic and international Qantas flights with a QF flight number when they are operated by Qantas, Emirates or American Airlines and booked through Qantas Business Rewards.
  • Complimentary Qantas Business Rewards membership. You'll need to join this loyalty program to enjoy the triple Qantas Points offer on eligible flights. While this usually attracts a one-time fee of $89.50, you can sign up for free through this card. As well as allowing businesses to earn Qantas Points for eligible flights, the Qantas Business Rewards program offers points for eligible business spending, discounts on eligible Qantas flights and savings on Qantas Club memberships for employees.

  • Annual fee. The American Express Qantas Corporate charge card has an annual fee of $70 per card. It also charges an $89 annual fee to enrol in the Membership Rewards Spirit program.
  • Spending limit. This card has no pre-set spending limit. Instead, purchases will be approved based on a range of factors including your current spending patterns, payment history and credit record.
