The humm90 Mastercard gives you different interest-free options depending on how you use this credit card. For everyday purchases, you can get up to 110 days interest-free. This is much longer than the 55 days offered by many other cards but its 23.99% p.a. purchase rate is also significantly higher than most cards on the market. If you know you'll pay the balance before the due date, this could be a great option. However, if you think you might carry a balance from month to month, you may want to consider a lower rate credit card.

How to apply

To get started, make sure you meet the following eligibility requirements and have all the essential documents and details on hand.

Eligibility criteria

  • Residency. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Card benefits

  • 110 days interest-free on purchases. This card offers an interest-free period of up to 110 days on every purchase you make (excludes cash advances). At the end of the 110-day period, the standard purchase rate will apply to the balance. Note that you will still need to make minimum payments on your account by the due date listed on each statement.
  • 0% foreign transaction fees. The humm90 Mastercard charges a 0% foreign transaction fee when you're travelling overseas or shopping online with an international retailer.

Rates & fees

  • Annual fee. This card charges an annual fee of $99.

Two questions, fist I have a zip money account that allows me to control how much I pay within the interest free period, is skye the same? Secondly, I notice the 90 day interest free, but will this be subjected to promotions cause I see others using skye offering longer interest free periods? Is this due to the business that uses skye and what interest free period they want to offer on their goods and serives?

      Hi Paul,

Thanks for getting in touch with Finder! Different from another installment service, Skye Mastercard offers interest-free installment plans of 9, 12 and 15 months when you use it for purchases of $250 or more. SkyePlan installment plans are subject to approval and attract a fee that’s calculated based on the total balance you want to pay off in installments.

The 90 days interest-free purchase won’t be subject for promotions. When you make a purchase using the Skye Mastercard, you are given 90 days to pay. At the end of the 90-day period, the standard purchase rate will apply to the balance. Note that you will still need to make minimum payments on your account by the due date listed on each statement.

Hope this was helpful. Don’t hesitate to message us back if you have more questions.

Hi, just some comments not a question on skye mastercard.
I’ve had mine for almost a month.
They charge a fee for making repayments, it was $0.95 on a $99 repayment!

Also Skye were unable to tell me what retailers I can use it at when asked on 2 separate occasions, they just pointed to the website which as far as I can tell does not list any retailers. I joined skye because it is Ikea’s preferred card. Ikea may accept their older interest free provider, HSBC, but ask the checkout supervisor.

      Hi Samantha,

Thank you for leaving a question.

Yes you may use the Skye Mastercard as long as the merchant you are transacting with accepts payments through Mastercard. Hope this helps!
