The BankVic Qantas Visa credit card is suited to TPAV members who want to reward their spending with Qantas Points. Although it doesn’t offer the most competitive earn rate, it is one of the few Qantas Frequent Flyer cards that charges $0 annual fee.

How to apply

You can apply for the BankVic Qantas Visa credit card online. Check if you meet the eligibility criteria and that you have the necessary details to complete the application.

Eligibility criteria

  • TPAV member. You're only eligible to apply for the BankVic Qantas Visa if you're a retired or current member of TPAV.
  • Age. You have to be at least 18 to get a credit card in Australia.

Card benefits

  • Low rate on balance transfers and purchases. Take advantage of an introductory interest rate of 6.99% p.a. on purchases and on balance transfers when you request the transfer at the time of your application. At the end of the introductory period, the standard purchase rate will apply to any remaining balances. You should note that you won't earn Qantas Points on balance transfers.
  • No annual fee. The BankVic Qantas Visa card charges no annual fee.

Rates & fees

  • Purchase rate. Outside of any promotions, the BankVic Qantas Visa charges a standard purchase rate of 16.95% p.a.
  • Interest-free days. You can get up to 55 days interest-free on purchases. To take advantage of the interest-free period, you need to pay your account balance in full by the due date listed on your current statement and on your previous statement.
