Expert review

The Bank of Melbourne Amplify Platinum Qantas card doesn’t currently offer the highest bonus points deal, but it’s still enough to help book your next getaway. To give some examples, you could fly one-way in business class from Sydney to Christchurch (41,500 points plus fees and taxes) or return from Brisbane to Adelaide in business class (55,200 points) with the bonus points.

This card also has a competitive annual fee, and you’re likely to pay a much higher fee if you opt for a card with a bigger bonus points promotion or more premium perks like airport lounge passes.
