Expert review

The American Express Qantas Business Rewards card currently offers 150,000 bonus Qantas Points – enough to get a one-way business class flight from Sydney to New York (144,600 Qantas Points) or a return business class flight from Brisbane to Tokyo (136,800 points) – with points to spare. The $450 Qantas Flight Voucher sweetens the deal and can be used for domestic or international Qantas flights.

This charge card also gives you a way to manage business spending and collect frequent flyer points through the Qantas Business Rewards program. The earn rates range from 0.5 to 2 Qantas Points per $1 spent, with triple points offered when you book eligible Qantas flights. Instead of charging interest, this card offers 51 days to pay off purchases during your statement period – and you’ll need to pay back all of what you spend by the due date. You can also add up to 99 additional cardholders, set up a transaction feed through MYOB and make payments to merchants that don’t accept Amex directly through American Express AccessLine.

It says here that the minimum income is $24,000, but the AMEX website says minimum $75,000 and needs to be GST registered. can you please clarify which is correct?

      Hi Gianni,

      Thank you for reaching out.

The minimum annual business revenue has been changed from $24,000 to $75,000, hence we have also updated our page to reflect this. And yes, your business must have a valid ABN registered for GST to be eligible.

      Hope this helps! 😊

      Kind Regards,
