Hello Craig,
While you can use a credit card for gambling expenses, it can get expensive because these transactions are treated as cash advances. This means there’s a fee of $1.50 per transaction. And you won’t get any interest-free days on the purchase, meaning you get charged interest immediately.
Generally you’re better off doing gambling spending via a debit card or cash rather than a credit card.
