Our verdict

This virtual credit card doesn’t charge interest on purchases, with a $19 monthly fee instead.

The Wizitcard offers an alternative to traditional credit cards and buy now pay later, with limits up to $1,000 and no interest charges. The $19 monthly fee that’s charged instead is also competitive with other no interest, flat fee credit cards in Australia. While this fee is waived if you don’t owe anything and haven’t used the card for a statement period, it could add up to $228 over a year if you regularly use it.

Pros

  • No interest charges
  • No monthly fee if you have a $0 balance and don’t use the card for a statement period
  • Instant virtual card you can use with Apple Pay and Google Pay

Cons

  • Maximum credit limit of $1,000 is low compared to other credit cards
  • 3% currency conversion fee if you use this card overseas or online in an international currency
  • No option for ATM withdrawals or cash advances
