Is the annual fee taken out once or is it taken out monthly?

Annual fee is charged once a year, generally in the month the card is issued.

Do I have to open a Qantas Membership before I apply or is that part of the application? Also I read somewhere that I get a reduction in initial fee because I am an existing NAB customer. Retired staff to be exact. 38 years service.

If you’re not already a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, NAB will provide a link that lets you sign up. Initial fee reductions for staff aren’t usually publicised – you’d need to contact NAB directly to find out if you can score an additional discount.

I have a MyCard Premier Qantas card which is issued by NAB but branded as MyCard. Would this make me ineligible for the bonus offer? I have read all the terms and conditions but not had any luck finding the answer to this question.

The T&Cs state “Bonus points are not available to customers who currently hold, or have held, any personal NAB Qantas Rewards Credit Card in the last 24 months.” It’s likely that this includes the MyCard you refer to, but you’d need to confirm directly with NAB before applying.

Hi Paul, yes, NAB has a direct partnership with Xero that allows for automatic bank feeds, meaning your monthly transactions and daily transactions can be imported directly into your Xero account.

Hi, Can you apply for this credit card as a couple (dual income) or is it based on one income alone and then the additional card holder is added?

Hi Tammy,

NAB offers credit cards to single applicants only, so yes, it is based on one personal income, and then an additional cardholder is added.
