Hi Michael,

The bank will assess your application based on your verified income. You can definitely apply if you are self-employed, but they will generally want to see 2 years worth of tax returns to verify your income.

Hope this helps!

Hi there does Bankwest accept balance transfers from CBA credit cards? I understand BankWest is a subsidiary of CBA now and accepts BTs from ‘non-BankWest-issued cards’ yet am unsure if CBA would be included or excluded? Thanks

Hi Daniel,

CBA is not specifically listed in the terms and conditions, which you can read here. Based on these Ts and Cs, it looks like a CBA balance transfer is eligible.

Hope this helps!

Hi, why was this card better than the Bendigo Bank Ready CC which seemed very comparable? Cheers

Hi David,

Each of these cards has different benefits, depending on your needs. The Zero Platinum card offers up to 28 months interest free if you wish to transfer some debt and pay it off over time, saving a lot of money on interest as you go. The Ready Credit card offers $0 international transaction fees and up to 55 days interest free on purchases, so they each suit different needs.

Hope this helps!
