"Looking at the comprehensive policies, both Allianz and NRMA offer fairly similar products. Extra value may be found in the detail though. Take the hire car after theft benefit for example; NRMA offers a higher daily limit but it has a 21 day cap. Allianz will pay for a hire car until the claim is completed, which could go beyond 21 days. For many, price is a huge factor and our research shows NRMA tends to be more competitive— it also has a sign up discount."
