What's the catch?
If you don't have a smart meter, you'll have to get one installed by Rimfire. If you leave Rimfire before 3 years have passed, you'll be charged an early exit fee for your smart meter (maximum ~$750, which decreases the longer you stay with Rimfire).
Rimfire doesn't have any lock-in contracts, so you should be able to switch providers without penalty at any time (so long as you haven't had a smart meter installed)

Rimfire doesn't sell GreenPower, which allows customers to pay extra on their energy use to support renewable energy development in Australia.
