Kogan Pet Insurance Review

  • Avatar
Kogan Pet Luxury Cover
Maximum yearly benefit
Reimbursement rate
80% up to age 8 & 65% over age 8
Routine Care

Kogan pet insurance is good if you want a budget-friendly policy with some generous limits.

  • It offers flexible reimbursement rates (65%, 70% and 80%) which is good if you want to pay cheaper premiums (opt for the lower reimbursement rates).
  • Its $15,000 annual benefit isn't market-leading, but it's better than several other budget policies including Budget Direct, Coles and Real.
  • Its $2,000 paralysis tick benefit is also more generous than most other insurers on Finder.

  • Its most comprehensive policy doesn't automatically cover routine dental — you'll need to pay more if you want it included.
  • Its 80% reimbursement rate is similar to many other insurers, though some, including Knose, Coles and Petsy, offer more.
