What network does EZEE Mobile use?
EZEE Mobile runs on Telstra’s wholesale network, which has a slightly smaller footprint than the full Telstra network - reaching 98.8% of Australians compared to 99.7% on the full network.
Most plans give you access to both 4G and 5G networks, except the entry-level 4G prepaid plan.
Download speeds are capped at 100Mbps on most prepaid mobile plans, which is more than enough for phone activities like HD streaming and social media browsing.
The only exception is the 160GB plan, where speeds are capped at 250Mbps for mobile and 150Mbps on mobile broadband plans.
What features and perks does EZEE Mobile offer?
EZEE Mobile has more going for it than your average provider.
We’ll focus mainly on its prepaid mobile plans in this section, as its broadband plans are fairly straightforward. You get a set data allowance, plus access to the 5G network.
Beyond data, unlimited local calls and texts, Wi-Fi calling, and voicemail on its prepaid mobile plans, you’ll also have access to:
Mobile app
This allows you to easily activate your SIM, get connected quickly, check your data use and manage plan details.
Data banking and data gifting
This feature lets you bank unused data for future use.
The data banking limit is capped at 500GB on the entry-level plan and 1000GB on all other plans.
You can also gift 50% of your monthly data allowance to other EZEE Mobile users.
Just remember, you can’t regift data that has been gifted.
Option to sign up with an eSIM
An eSIM is a digital SIM that removes the hassle of buying a physical SIM in-store or waiting for it to be delivered.
All you need is a compatible handset, and you’ll be able to sign up with EZEE Mobile straight away with an existing number or a new one.
Alternatively, you can purchase a SIM card online or buy one at Chemist Warehouse.
International calls and texts
EZEE Mobile offers unlimited international calls and texts to 15 selected countries across all its plans.

Before signing up with EZEE Mobile, it’s important to know that you must opt in for auto-recharge when activating your plan. If you decide to stop using EZEE Mobile, you’ll need to turn off auto-recharge before your plan expires. Otherwise, if your plan expires while auto-recharge is still active, you’ll lose any unused banked data.
