Our verdict
The ANZ Plus Growth Saver account offers a rate of 4.15% p.a. as long as you grow your balance by $100 or more.
This is a simple, no-fuss savings account with a strong ongoing rate and a very simple requirement: grow your balance by $100 a month. You can also make withdrawals and still earn the full interest rate on the account balance.
The 4.15% p.a. interest rate is only slightly lower than other leading high interest savings accounts in the market at the moment, but most other savings accounts come with more complicated monthly conditions to meet.
Pros
-
Track multiple savings goals helping you manage and stay on top of different savings goals in one account.
-
Automatic round-ups for eligible card transactions, making saving even easier by rounding up and saving spare change.
Cons
-
Bonus interest conditions require you to deposit at least $100 each month and make no withdrawals which may not be achievable for all customers.

Hi Sue, The maximum daily cash withdrawal limit for ANZ Save is $2,500. If you’re transferring to the connected transaction account, there’s no limit to how much you can move – but you won’t earn interest once you’ve moved, so you’d likely only do that if you wanted to use the funds to pay for something specific. Hope this helps!

ANZ is stating that you can earn interest this way until 1st September 2024, after which additional criteria will apply that may affect how much interest you earn. Are you aware of what the additional criteria involves? The ANZ and ANZ Plus app does not specify the additional criteria.

You can transfer money from your ANZ Plus Saver to your ANZ Plus bank account, and then from there you can transfer to another ANZ account like you would a normal bank-to-bank transfer.
